Katie Adams makes designer tableware in her studio in central London near Tate Modern. She throws pots with subtle lines then draws into the surface to express the architectural environment around her.

Katie's visceral River Runs Through work continues to deepen in 2011 along with a celebratory new project delighting in the architecture of New York.

Teaching is a valued and interwoven part of Katie's practice. Since the move to Glasshill Street last spring her students have multiplied. She teaches beginners, degree and post degree level.
